Forgive & Forget......

Hi frends... I'm posting something after a long time...
Its an article written for Aamir..and I'm posting it ..as it is so as to preserve the sanctity of the issue raised... Hope you get my point...

" For ace actor Aamir Khan Independence Day has a lot of meaning and it's the bright future of the country that he looks forward to but he feels that for India to progress we need to follow the principals of Gautam Buddha and Mahatma Gandhi.

Aamir, who has always stood for a cause, especially where it comes to doing something good for the country and its people like standing for the farmers' rights or supporting the victims of the Leh cloudburst tragedy, and has a very important message for the people. He says that we need to forgive and forget and not dwell in the past and instead of blaming the system for everything we should strive for a better tomorrow. He also suggested that we should not be rigid in our beliefs and learn to respect and listen to others only then we will know what is wrong and try to correct it or make them understand their mistakes. He said that . . ."forgiveness is better than hundred attacks. . . ."

Profound thought indeed from a highly intelligent and intellectual actor, the likes that we need to make India a more wonderful country."

A billion waking dreams ..& a brilliant under-statement...

I jumped of my seat at the moment when Sachin broke the highest individual score in
ODIs and went on completing the first ever double century in ODI history..that would be the
collective response of each and every viewer who stuck to there TV sets..and the next morning
newspapers confirmed that.

It was mesmerizing to watch that how an individual can work the dreams of a billion
people or.., give his people a billion dreams to cherish..Our political leaders would envy the
respect people confer on him.. coz' there is not a single one of them who has the mettle to win
an election in any given constituency, leave behind even touching his popularity what so ever.

Now for the understatement..On the presentation ceremony Sachin was asked by Ravi Shastri that "when was the moment that the score of 200 looked realistic to you?".. at this Sachin said "When i was 1 or 2 runs short of 200 I started to believe that I can get it now" ..What an understatement!! ..the mark of a pure statesman!

In the words of great Australian batsman Matt Hayden -"I have seen God..He bats at no. 4 for India"

'My Name is Khan' sets Box office record in U.K....!

The word is out friends..'My Name is Khan' is set to become the highest grossing movie in India even surpassing the records of '3 Idiots'.. And also it has rose to a 6th position in the UK top charts!

This news might seem irritating and annoying to 'Shiva sena' ...but the people have taken there decision and have followed there inner voice...And so be it! :)

He is hungry...scared... !

"He is hungry ...scared...wondering when his mother is coming back ... may be she's not...'coz........................."

As the Ailing Tiger of Shiva Sena ; Bal Thakerey has stopped growling (I mean.. Squeaking) in the post-SRK-Shiva Sena controversy times, the national animal of India - The real 'Tiger' seems to be in the news recently. The above lines are from the 'Save our Tigers' initiative ad. which is been shown these days on the Television.

This ad has become very popular these days in the general public as It is heartening to watch a 2 month old tiger cub in despair ... It arises a sense of 'mercy' for him as he seems to be without a mother, a sense of 'concern' which arises naturally on seeing this kind of video, And addingly and most importantly it arises a sense of 'Helplessness' which arises questions such as "What can I do" or "What I have to do with that" or evaluations such as "I can't do nothing about that"..!

The last thought of 'Helplessness' seems to be the feeling of a major portion of our population in India, as it is very difficult for us to find the relevancy to attach ourselves ,personally, to a cause which is 'Social'..or which has got something to do with the 'Government'.. because we can't find the reason to attach ourselves to a cause..untill and unless it comes on to us...As we experienced in Mumbai last year(26/11).

Yes, The options for the general public are too limited that is true, and we can't be tiger activists in one night...but we can still make aware & be aware about what is happening in our surroundings ..hoping that somebody might take a note of it and start working seriously.
. as it is for our own good though.

Truth is scary ..!

This is my first blog post frendz!

hi guys,

This is my first blog post.. I'm here so as to discuss and benefit from the ideas of those who like to share there opinions..that is you people. This worlds changing really fast and distances have become meager, So we cant live like not being affected by each other's deeds and views as we live in a Tech-savvy, Router connected world..too vulnerable to be different.

Can't wait to have a healthy exchange of words with you... :)

Yes we may have differences in opinions but we can also have opinions on our differences.

Is this really the opinion of our educated fraternity ?

hi guys,

We all know what is happening in Mumbai... Shahrukh Khan's straight statement is been blown out of proportions by some Jingoistic freaks..and he's been pressed hard to feel sorry for his 'Right to express his Ideas' and we as sensible citizens are not firming our stands.

The kind of 'Pedagogy' the Shivsena wants to impose on us.. is it truly the spirit of us ; the young, educated and open minded fraternity of our country? Do we really want to succumb to the ideas of these over reacting, mostly unemployed and also less educated hooligans and there backward pushing ideas?

Now the other so called staunch hindutva following local parties and groups are also raising there voices against Shahrukh ..and in this way they are not only trying to render Shahrukh Khan of his right to express ideas ..they are also blocking us somehow in exercising our right to expression... and that too just so that no other group steals away there religious agenda from them and thus steals away some dirty votes.

Here we want to discuss that is it really the opinion of the sensible , educated fraternity of our country to tell Shahrukh to feel sorry for a sin not done? And to remind you that this post is not a Shahrukh praising one.. but just to have our view against these social stigmas... Is it really that we don't want to express our views.. or is it that we don't know how to express them?

Well it may be both.. but in the Latter case, we will certainly learn to express them in this joint, civilized society ..

' It is just that we express them in any case; and in the way we know ..!'
